The disclaimer above is standard. The independence claim is not. Most real estate content online is funded by referral fees, lender affiliate programs, or agent commissions. We're funded by readers paying directly for the guides — and that changes what the content can honestly say.
- No referral fees. We do not receive any payment, percentage, or other compensation when readers hire any agent, broker, lender, attorney, contractor, or service provider.
- No affiliate relationships. We do not use affiliate links of any kind. No tracking links to mortgage marketplaces, no Amazon links to recommended books, no broker-finder partner programs.
- No sponsored content. No paid placements, no sponsored mentions, no "in partnership with" arrangements anywhere in any product or page.
- No commission relationships. We do not receive commission, equity, or other compensation from any service provider in the real estate, mortgage, or related industries.
